CCOPS Members

CCOPS started in 1995

We represent the following counties/schools:

Clarke County, Iowa - Clarke Community Schools

Murray County, Iowa - Murray Community Schools

We currently have 19 members

We select members by having interested students write essays. The Guidance Counselors then goes through the essays and takes any essays by students who would not be an ideal student by their behavior in the past. The rest of the essays are then given to the group
for an evaluation. Murray students then pick a maximum of 5 students to be
interviewed in front of the group, as does Clarke with Murray members. The ideal
candidates are then brought to our meeting for an interview process to allow the
students to get to know them better and interact with them. The group then
discusses and the new members selected.
